Abstract:The Third Graduate Workshop in Japanese Studies jointly hosted by the University of Chicago and the University of Tokyo is to be convened on October 18, 2016 (Tuesday) in the First Meeting Room of the Institute for Advanced Studies on Asia at the University of Tokyo. This workshop is part of the Strategic Partnership project between the two universities. Ten graduate students from the two universities will give presentations on their research about Japan and have extensive discussions. The workshop is followed by a reception.
