Abstract:The first joint workshop "Critical Nationalism Studies" between the University of Tokyo and Durham University is scheduled on October 1, 2016. Seven scholars in political science, sociology, anthropology and history from the two universities will spend the whole day presenting and discussing nationalism in relation to citizenship, religion, the sea, and immigration. It is an open event. All interested are welcome.
